“When you feel like quitting, think about why you started”

This is my story about my entrepreneurial journey in Barcelona, Spain. I’m gonna be frank with you. To say it has been without a fair amount of challenges would be an understatement. It has been f*cking painful.  The system is painful but as a friend said to me, if it was easy then everyone would be doing it.

I have to say my support group has definitely pulled me through some tough times on the journey and that’s one thing to highly recommend. Surround yourself with positive people that motivate your ambitions.

Deciding to start a project in a foreign country with a  language that is not my own is, well let’s be honest, either a very brave or a very dumb decision. However, my fiancé is Spanish so that reduces my stupidity and there were many times I would’ve been at a dead end without her.

The purpose of this blog is to capture what seemed like the difficult times, how the challenges were overcome and to offer insight to those that are thinking about starting your own venture. Here you can find some comfort in the struggles and know that you won’t be alone when crying into your pillow at night. Everything is possible.

More to come.

  • Keep your mind on the goal, believe in yourself. Everything is possible. Stumbles along the way are valuable lessons, not setbacks. Xxx
